Spring1883 Art Fair
13 - 16 August 2025
Suite 318
For its second appearance at Spring1883, Void_Melbourne presents a considered installation that brings together wall works, sculptural objects, and moving images within the storied interiors of The Windsor. The presentation reflects the gallery’s continued commitment to experimental visual language and cross-disciplinary dialogue, featuring a selection of both represented and guest artists whose practices span material and conceptual approaches. Central to the installation is a moving image work by a renowned New Zealand filmmaker, which introduces a cinematic rhythm and offers a compelling counterpoint to the tactile presence of the sculptural and wall-based works. Embracing the layered atmosphere of the hotel setting, Void_Melbourne’s presentation invites viewers into a nuanced and sensory encounter that speaks to the gallery’s expanding curatorial scope and its dedication to fostering under-represented voices within the contemporary art landscape.
